Delaware 4-H Club issued the following announcement on Feb. 6.
If you're looking for ideas on how to eat healthy and make the most of the time you spend in the kitchen, this workshop series is for you! Join Kelsey Salow, ISU Extension and Outreach Human Sciences Specialist in Nutrition and Wellness, for a three part series scheduled for March 4, 11, and 18 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Heritage Bank in Delhi. A light meal will be served at 5:45 p.m.
In the first session, Healthy Choices: Aisle by Aisle, tour our virtual grocery store and learn how to identify and purchase the most nutritious food items.
During the second session, Cook Now Enjoy Later, discover how planning can reduce stress, save money, and provide your family nutritious home-cooked meals.
The final session, Slow Cooker Meals, will examine the benefits of using the slow cooker, food safety tips, and meal ideas.
